Urban: From Demon Child to Homelander, Then Superman

(The Boy and the Heron movie + Homelander + Viltrum + Invincible + Superman + DC + Marvel)

Ling Yu always thought his life was a tragedy. It wasn't until he turned sixteen that he realized it was actually a comedy. He was the one having fun, though. For everyone else, it was a tragedy...

During a school fitness test, high schooler Ling Yu had an accident. To his amazement, his body seemed to have changed. He walked at supersonic speed during the test, jumped so far that he flew from the school to a park on the other side of the city, and his eyes even began to glow when he got emotional!

Question: What would an ordinary teenager do after gaining powers like these?

Ling Yu is a complicated person. His experiences would never let him become Superman, but his parents more than made up for that.

His origins and background are no ordinary matter, either. His powers and everything about him are beyond everyone's expectations.

School bullying? I'll just rip the whole school out by its roots.

International pressure and a sneak attack? I'll just erase that country.

Online trolls hurling insults? I'll send them into space for a day, Internet cable and all.

He can push Earth closer to the sun, or split it in two. With power like this, what will Ling Yu ultimately choose?

Ling Yu: "You're not heroes. I'm the real hero!"

This is the story of a biological weapon becoming a god.

(The setting draws on The Boy and the Heron movie, Homelander, and Invincible. Anyway, it's all made up, so let's just have fun with it.)
