A makeup artist with cancer, two rough country boys who came to the city looking for work but found none, and an incompetent husband who lives off his wife. The four are brought together by a botched kidnapping, but they all share one firm resolve: to make money. So they decide to pull off a scam by robbing a thief, kidnapping a hospital director and impersonating anti-corruption investigators to force him to hand over his ill-gotten gains. They assume he won’t dare report them since the money is dirty, but they overlook the darkness in his heart and the cruelty of his methods. Soon they are trapped in a desperate situation with no way back, and their families, whom they wanted to protect, are dragged into it too.
