A scam-busting expert versus a master con artist.
One is a mother struggling through a custody battle and working as a scam-busting expert. Under the dual pressures of work and family life, she remains composed, unraveling one baffling, complicated scam after another.
The other is a terminally ill master con artist with little time left. Bent on revenge, he painstakingly hones his craft and designs scheme after scheme, all to weave them into one ultimate con that will deliver his vengeance.
As the two match wits, they are drawn into a battle over the succession of the real estate empire known as the Li Tang Group, bringing its earth-shattering secrets to light.
A novel-version blend of Infernal Affairs and Catch Me If You Can: a battle of wits, corporate espionage, and four heirs vying for the throne.
All the twists and turns are unexpected but logical and reasonable. It's a bit tiring but also very enjoyable to read. I just don't know why there are only a few comments. Are you confused by reading it? 🤭🤭
Every character appears just right, every recall is within reason, not abrupt, every character is not an NPC, they are like gears driving the story. I sincerely recommend Why does it show that I have read for less than 30 minutes even though I have finished reading?
