Long Live the Fourth Calamity of Rock Kingdom

[Fourth Catastrophe] + [Kingdom of Locke Fan Fiction] + [Post-Apocalyptic Worldbuilding] + [A Spectacle of Player Behavior]

He transmigrated.

The good news: it wasn’t another world. It was Kingdom of Locke, the game he’d played for ten years. The bad news: King Arthur had fallen, Nightmare pollution was spreading, and the continent had become a wasteland. His city of Hope was left with only a battered remnant of an army and a city wall on the verge of collapse. The even worse news: he’d been pierced through the chest by a Nightmare’s breath as soon as he arrived. The original owner was dead, so he’d gotten a life for free, along with a System left behind by a remnant soul.

System function: Send helmets to the original world and summon the Fourth Catastrophe.

Weber Wang: ? This isn’t how the script is supposed to go.

Soon, the first player arrived. Then four more. Then over thirty. They chopped down all the windbreak forest around Hope City, licked the floor to test the physics engine, bathed in washbasins, asked NPCs if they could get married, and took screenshots flashing peace signs right before they died. They called it “exploring the new map.” Weber’s head throbbed as he carved out six rules, set up the continent’s first stress-tested receptionist, and posted the first server-wide quest.

He thought he’d summoned a reinforcement force. In reality, he’d summoned a swarm of locusts.

But the Dark Cult was stirring in the Fallen Plains, and a treasure the original owner had given his life to find lay hidden deep in the Dark Forest. The moment the black-robed man pressed a dark-purple crystal onto the altar, something deep beneath the earth opened its eyes.

Meanwhile, more than thirty fearless little Lockes were charging into the forest with their Spirit Balls, shouting as they went, “Let’s explore the new map! Chop down the trees! Move the rocks! Catch polluted pets and take them back to purify them for free!”

It was all so unbelievable.
