Honkai Impact 3rd: Calamity Raised Them into Obsession

Chen Yi infiltrates Senba Academy under a false identity. His mission is to observe Kiana, the “Second Herrscher specimen,” at close range. But he knows better than anyone that the disaster in Nagazora City lies just beyond the school, and that after it comes a series of tragic fates from which there is no turning back. So, while under orders from Schicksal to keep watch, he intervenes in the lives of Kiana, Mei, and Bronya ahead of time, determined to drag them out of the disastrous ending by force. But the more people he saves, the more deeply they depend on him; the harder he fights to protect them, the more their relationship spirals toward obsession and out of control. When the disaster strikes early and the organization orders, “Prioritize preserving the specimens. Ordinary people may be abandoned,” Chen Yi decides to disobey for the first time. Because this time, he doesn’t want to remain a bystander, or let them march toward a future doomed to collapse.
