A Double Wedding Gone Wrong: Both Powerful Young Lords Fall for Me

The royal family arranges the marriages: the gentle concubine-born daughter Su Qingyuan is to wed Xie Yanci, the powerful chief minister, while the proud legitimate daughter Su Jinghong is to wed Xiao Jingyan, a disreputable young marquis.

Su Qingyuan knows Xie Yanci is cold and ruthless, and that his deadly political maneuvering makes marrying into the minister’s household like stepping into an abyss. She also knows Xiao Jingyan is wild and dissolute, while her younger sister is headstrong and forthright. If her sister marries into the marquis’s household, she will be tormented and wronged.

Having protected her younger sister since childhood, Su Qingyuan resolves to trade places with her and risk her own life.

On the wedding day, without telling anyone, Su Qingyuan secretly switches the dowries, wedding clothes, and sedan chairs. The sisters end up married to the wrong men, changing both their fates against the heavens’ will.
