The Eighth Sister: Born a Monster, Her Ghost-Hunting Chronicles

When Eight Sister was born, the clear sky suddenly filled with dark clouds, and thunderclaps boomed one after another. The moment the midwife picked her up, she was so frightened that she quickly shut her eyes. Eight Sister had been born a monster. At three years old, Eight Sister realized she had a spirit medium’s constitution. She could catch ghosts and drive away evil spirits. I’ve been inseparable from her since childhood, and I’m the Wu family’s only pure Yang constitution. Eight Sister can also speak with birds, beasts, plants, and trees, and even hold heart-to-heart conversations with ghosts and monsters. All living things in the world honor her as their master and obey her commands. Ghosts and monsters are everywhere, demons and evil spirits run rampant, and natural and man-made disasters plague the land. The people are plunged into misery. Eight Sister strides forth from the dust. With one hand she drives out ghosts and suppresses evil; with the other, she slays demons and monsters. Wielding the power of all living things, she stands against the calamities of the world. With her peerless mystical arts, she protects all under heaven and forges an eternal legend!
