Bronze Mirror, Don't Mess With Me!

Shen Qingci studied hard for twelve years and finally came top of the imperial examinations, becoming the youngest top scholar of the dynasty. She thought she could now support her family and repay her mother, without having to depend on anyone else's favor. Then she picked up a bronze mirror. When she woke, she was in a strange room, transformed into a young man with dyed blond hair and ripped jeans. On the other side of the mirror, a strange girl wore her top scholar's robe and stared back with her face, looking bewildered. The mirror allows real-time conversation. On its back is engraved a line: “The mirror connects yin and yang; souls can dwell a thousand miles apart. When the moon is full, if hearts are as one, return they shall.” The full moon may offer a chance to switch back, but the moon alone isn't enough. Their hearts must also be “as one.” What does that mean? No one knows. The two must live in completely unfamiliar worlds as each other. Shen Qingci is well versed in the classics, but must now face things she's never encountered before, like scanning QR codes with a phone and navigating workplace rules. Lin Yujing is agile and skilled in combat, but must now deal with the unfamiliar rules of court etiquette and memorials presented to the throne. Don't know how? Learn!
