[Urban Supernatural Powers] + [Monsterverse] + [Classic of Mountains and Seas] + [Monarch Organization] + [High Martial] + [Beast Taming]
Wu Qifa applies to join the Monarch Organization and is assigned to work at an earthquake monitoring station in Chengdu.
The pay is 30,000 a month, and all he has to do is show up on time.
Until he opens the metal hatch in the corner of the office...
Three thousand meters underground, the bronze behemoth Taotie lies asleep.
This station is the Monarch Organization's outpost for containing it.
And his real job is to make sure it never wakes up.
Later, Ghidorah beats its wings in Antarctica, and Rodan stirs a volcano in Mexico.
Mothra emerges from her cocoon in Yunnan, while Kong beats his chest and roars on Skull Island.
Seventeen Titans awaken across the globe, and the Monarch Organization announces that the world has entered its final countdown.
Headquarters: Keep those five of yours under control!
Wu Qifa: I'm just an employee...
Later still, Godzilla comes ashore in Tokyo Bay.
The MUTOs follow behind, while the Monster Zero circles overhead.
All human weapons are useless.
Wu Qifa glances at the monitor screen...
Taotie has awakened. Yinglong has awakened. Baize has awakened. Zhuyin has awakened. Even the Nian beast has awakened.
Five ferocious beasts from the Classic of Mountains and Seas stand behind him...
He takes a deep breath and picks up the walkie-talkie.
“Headquarters, I'm taking them to fight Godzilla.”
“Does that count as overtime?”
King of the Monsters versus the ferocious beasts of the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
