Huo Qubing of the Han Dynasty Transmigrates to the World of Chongzhen and Dream of the Red Chamber

In the autumn of the sixth year of Yuanshou under Emperor Wu of Han, the peerless hero Huo Qubing died in camp. The death of this young Marquis, just twenty-four years old, was the court’s greatest loss. Emperor Wu was overcome with grief. The boy he had regarded as a son or nephew was gone just like that. So he buried with him a jade pendant he had carried for many years. Deeply imbued with dragon qi, the pendant allowed Huo Qubing to be reborn without drinking Meng Po’s soup.

That day, Jia She was taking a midday nap in the East Road Courtyard of the Rongguo Mansion when he had a dream.
