I Dominate the League, Starting by Driving Peak Kobe Crazy

In 2010, the Lakers are riding high after winning back-to-back championships, while the Heat's Big Three are about to take shape. In this age of superstars, Su Bai, a Chinese undrafted rookie with no presence whatsoever, scrapes by in the NBA as a towel boy.

The whole league knows Su Bai is a useless player with terrible stamina. He can play for only 15 minutes at most before panting like a dog.

Then, in one game, every starter on his team gets injured, and the desperate coach sends him in to run out the clock. Amid the crowd's boos and the opponents' vicious taunts, the Taunt-Charging System activates! As long as he takes negative emotions, he can redeem them for ten-minute peak-performance cards featuring legendary NBA greats from across the eras!

“Activate Rodman's defensive experience card!”

In just three minutes, Su Bai grabs eight offensive rebounds and delivers a brutal poster dunk that sends the opposing center flying over the baseline! Starting with a ten-day contract, he becomes the player every top star fears seeing on the court. Because during those 15 minutes, he is the god of basketball! Deep threes, hang-time double-clutch layups, suffocating defense!

After the game, reporters swarm him: “Su, why do you only play one quarter per game?”

Su Bai sighs. “Can't be helped. Playing the whole game would keep me from clocking out on time.”

Kobe Bryant says in an interview: “If Su Bai were willing to join the Lakers, I'd come off the bench for him. I just wish he'd play even five more minutes a game!”
