Siheyuan: With a Pocket Dimension from the Start, Silly Zhu Quietly Makes His Fortune

[Period setting + Beijing courtyard home + pocket dimension + farming + everyday life + no saintly heroine]

He Yuzhu, a kitchen helper, wakes up to find himself back in a Beijing courtyard home in 1952, as the seventeen-year-old “Silly Zhu.”

His parents are both dead, leaving him and his eight-year-old sister, He Yushui, to rely on each other. His pockets are emptier than his stomach.

The beastly neighbors haven't fully “evolved” yet, and each of them is busy scheming for their own benefit.

Newly married Qin Huairu is still a shy young bride; Xu Damao is just a big kid; and the three neighborhood elders are still obscure figures at their respective jobs.

Luckily, from the start, he awakens a mysterious pocket dimension containing an acre of black soil and a spring of spirit water.

Faced with the coming era of scarcity, He Yuzhu smiles.

In this life, he'll protect his sister, stockpile enough food, and use his cooking skills and foreknowledge to make a good life for himself in these turbulent times.

And as for the beasts filling the courtyard?

“Don't mess with me. If you do, I'll make you regret it!”

Watch Silly Zhu plan ahead and match wits with his rivals as he rises from a kitchen apprentice to the “Master Zhu” nobody in the courtyard dares to cross!
