The World of Sound and Harmony

A new story is here! You’re welcome to read my work on Tomato Novel. I hope you enjoy it. Your support is what keeps me writing, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well!

In the future, a disaster known as the “Silence Plague” sweeps across the globe. It does not kill living things, but irreversibly erases and disrupts all “ordered sounds,” including language, music, and even the mechanical roar of certain frequencies. Human society retreats into the “Silent Age,” communicating through gestures, light and shadow, and basic electromagnetic signals. The protagonist is a “Listener,” blessed with the rare ability to faintly sense and analyze mutated remnants of “ordered sound waves.” They discover that the plague may not be a natural disaster, but rather a side effect of an ultimate defense system activated by an ancient civilization to seal away a terrifying entity that accompanies the “Ultimate Harmony.” As the protagonist seeks the “source of sound” to heal the world, they accidentally begin to awaken the sealed “Ultimate Harmony,” a force powerful enough to reshape reality.
