The Borderland Blade

My name is Lin Ye. I was once a mercenary who lived by the blade, surviving for five whole years in the jungles of Southeast Asia. I thought that after retiring, I could open an auto repair shop in a small border town and live out the rest of my days in peace. But I never expected an anti-prostitution raid to drag me straight into a deadly vortex woven by scam syndicates in northern Myanmar, border drug lords, and corrupt police informants.

From a terrifying moment in a massage parlor to a hair-raising cross-border manhunt; from being hunted by both sides of the law to building my own revenge squad. I will rip away the human masks of northern Myanmar amid a hail of bullets, expose the protectors lurking behind all the deceit, and get justice, in my own way, for every compatriot who has been scammed or brutalized.

This is a war with no way back. Either I crush my enemies beneath my feet, or I am buried in foreign soil. And I, Lin Ye, never planned to come back alive from the moment I set foot in northern Myanmar, unless I return drenched in blood, carrying the heads of every last criminal.
