Great Ming: Father, I’m Begging You, Hurry Up and Rebel

Lin Zhan transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes Zhu Gaoxu, Prince of Han, the dynasty's most reckless man. From the start, his father forces him to take up a fief in a poor and desolate land.

Luckily, he awakens the [Laid-Back Lord System]. As long as he lies flat, develops his fief, and takes in beautiful women and famed officials, he can earn an endless stream of rewards!

“Rebel? Being emperor means you don't even get weekends off. Even a dog wouldn't take that job! I want to build an empire on which the sun never sets and be a carefree prince!”

And so the Ming Dynasty's entire style takes a sudden turn.

Zhu Di goes undercover as an old soldier to investigate, hoping to catch his son plotting a rebellion. Instead, Lin Zhan drags him off to drink ice-cold beer and rant: “The Zhu family's policy of weakening the vassal princes is utter nonsense! The maritime ban is even more idiotic!”

Zhu Di trembles with rage, yet rushes back to the capital that very night to “copy his homework.”

Then the Oirat army invades, and the entire court waits to see Prince Han make a fool of himself.

Lin Zhan flies into a rage. “You dare keep me from watching the sunset with my princess consort?”

With a wave of his hand, he summons ten thousand Snowfield Dragon Riders, who flatten the enemy's royal camp in half a day!

Looking at the piles of weapons centuries ahead of their time and cannons capable of destroying the world, Zhu Di, who had personally led the campaign, is utterly dumbfounded. “Second Son, you call this not plotting a rebellion? Take the throne, and let your father have weekends off too!”
