After Losing Her Memory, the Princess Clings Only to the Fifth Prince

Xiao Yanzi fell off a horse and lost her memory. She forgot everyone except the cold-faced Fifth Prince, Yongqi.

“You’re my bodyguard!” she declared with complete confidence.

He fell silent for a moment. “...Yes.”

When she told him to carry her, he did. When she told him to steal some pastries, he did. When she told him to kiss her, he nearly did that too.

Then the imperial decree arrived: their betrothal was canceled, and another match would be arranged.

Only then did she learn that he wasn’t a bodyguard at all. He was the man she was supposed to marry.

And the gentle, refined daughter of a wealthy family was standing right in front of him, curtseying. “Fifth Prince, I’ve heard so much about you.”

He knelt outside the Palace of Compassion and Tranquility for an entire day, just to refuse the marriage.

But someone stopped her at the palace gates, and she could only watch as another woman walked toward him.

P.S. This isn’t an angsty story, it’s a sweet romance. At least, that’s what the author thinks.
