New My Fair Princess: Reborn as Yan, Falling for Ertai

I'm Xiao Yanzi, the Forbidden City's little ray of sunshine and Yongqi's beloved. It wasn't until I was on the verge of death that I finally understood the unsent love letter from Ertai.

He said Yongqi loved me like a raging fire, while he admired me like a gentle breeze. Yet that breeze spent his whole life burning for me. When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to my youth.

Yongqi was still confessing his love, but I rushed like a madwoman toward the gentle young man. “Ertai, this time, let me be the one to love you!”

I was feeling overheated that day and had the wild idea of taking a bath in the lotus tub.

Just as I was enjoying myself, the courtyard gate creaked open.

Ertai barged in just like that.

Through the mist, my black hair was soaked, and I was completely naked.

He froze in place, his gaze burning as he looked me over from head to toe.

“Don't look!” I sank into the water, burning with embarrassment.

But he strode over and grabbed my wet wrist, breathing heavily:

“Xiao Yanzi, now that I've seen you naked, don't even think about escaping me for the rest of your life.”
