Dragon Raja: Twin Soul Stele

“If even monsters can have friends, could hell count as a place to belong?” The rainy season at Shilan High School always seemed endless. Lu Mingfei huddled in a gloomy corner of the school building like a patch of moss that couldn’t bear the light.

In this world, she was still the same hapless kid, even more invisible than in the original story. Whenever she lost control of her emotions, those molten-gold eyes of hers would reveal a pressure that made even Dragon Lords tremble.

A tyrant lived inside her.

Every night, that voice whispered deep in her mind: “Kill them all, and you’ll rule the world.”

Lu Mingfei always covered her ears and whispered back through her shaking: “Shut up. I just want to treat that girl called Eri to an ice cream.”

The invitation from Cassell College arrived as expected, and the wheels of fate began to turn once more.

But this time, Lu Mingfei no longer needed to trade her life to the devil.

She looked at the girl in the mirror, golden flames burning in her eyes, and smiled bitterly.

“I don’t need to become a monster to save the world.”

“Because I’m already in the abyss, waiting for you to come down.”

From the flames of Bronze City to the sorrowful song of Tokyo Tower.

She stood shoulder to shoulder with gods in a mortal body, then embraced mortals in the form of a god.

When Eri wrote “Sakura is the best” in her little notebook, Lu Mingfei knew she had to draw her blade against the entire world for the sake of that smile.

This is a story about two “monsters” saving each other.

It is also the story of a girl trying to piece together the broken fragments of her soul to build a tomorrow for the whole world.

“Don’t be afraid. If the sky falls, I’ll hold it up.”
