[Pure slice of life + no System + no fighting + Japanese light novel style + one heroine + sweet romance]
“You stole our family’s sacred fruit. I’m going to turn you into flower fertilizer!”
Faced with a beautiful but deadly elf girl with pink hair and blue eyes, Aaron, a pathetically weak human, blurts out a grand prophecy to save his own skin: “Humans and elves will live in peace for hundreds of years.”
And then... this stubborn elf actually believes him! She even locks him up in a wooden cabin, supposedly to “verify the prophecy up close.”
And so Aaron is forced to begin a stomach-churning cross-species life under one roof.
There’s no System that makes him invincible, and no fighting or leveling up. In this elf forest, where all you can find is wild fruit and wood shavings, Aaron’s only means of survival turns out to be... cooking!
A bowl of fragrant lemongrass egg-drop soup leaves the little elf girl next door drooling;
A sizzling, juicy grilled steak makes the cold, violent girl lower her longbow and swallow hard.
“I, Qilina, would rather starve to death than eat food made by a crude human like you! ...Ahem, I suppose you can give me just one more bowl.”
Looking at the arrogant elf before him, her ears bright red as she stubbornly refuses to admit she likes it, Aaron sighs helplessly.
Weren’t you going to turn me into flower fertilizer? How did I somehow become the personal caretaker of an arrogant elf?!
A warm, everyday tale of a man who uses a cooking pot and a silver tongue to gradually sweet-talk a cold elf into becoming his devoted little wife.
I had a bit of a stomachache, but luckily it was dealt with quickly and I'm fine. I have read several chapters of Stomachache before.
