Master Craftsman of National Destiny: Mistaking Lord Laozi for My Uncle

[Journey to the West + xuanhuan + national destiny + divine craftsman + mortals mistake him for a great figure + satisfying action] Lu Yan, a young carpenter at the foot of Wudang Mountain, finds a down-and-out old man who keeps calling him nephew. No one tells him the truth: The old man is Taishang Laojun, and Lu Yan is the last descendant of the Divine Craftsman clan. The Three Realms' national destinies clash, and the Dragon Nation is in peril. Lu Yan is thrust into the spotlight, and the whole world waits to see him fail. Then, in the blink of an eye, a wooden hairpin crushes a powerful enemy, and a peachwood sword slays a god. Lu Yan looks utterly innocent: "I'm really just an ordinary carpenter..." Love, hate, passion, and vengeance, protecting his sister, upholding the Dao, avenging his blood kin, he storms Mount Ling, slays the Buddhist sect's Xuan Chen and Mo Chen, and subdues the Tathagata! He also helps the Jade Emperor purge traitors in the Celestial Court, including the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King and Taibai Jinxing! With Laojun secretly backing him and Sun Wukong at his side, he sweeps through the Three Realms with his divine craftsmanship. The world hails him as the ruler of the Three Realms, but all he wants is to look after Yanji Woodworks and remain the humble carpenter who never forgot his original dream.
