National Fate: The Bystander Rescue Plan

Qin Sui has a secret: she is a transmigrator. A game of national destiny has descended upon the world she now lives in, and gifted players are treated like royalty in every country. In some countries, ordinary people with no special abilities are simply abandoned because they’re too weak. In the eyes of the gifted, these ordinary people aren’t even worthy of names. They’re called “background characters”! Qin Sui has the gift of prophecy. One day, her ability awakens, and she sees that her parents, her neighbors, and all the other ordinary people who have yet to awaken their gifts will die in a game instance! Qin Sui: “Background characters? They’re not background characters! They’re my family, my friends, the people I know!” [Ding! The Host’s wish has been detected. Congratulations, Host! You are now bound to the Background Character Rescue System.] And so Qin Sui and the System began their rescue plan! Qin Sui opened a breakfast shop downstairs from her home, selling System-made breakfasts that strengthened the body. After eating them, her neighbors’ bodies improved enough for them to punch a monster into the ground. At last, the game instance Qin Sui had seen through her prophetic gift began. This time, her neighbors had strengthened bodies, and the monsters were no match for them! When the Sakura Kingdom, Kimchi Kingdom, and United States saw that the national destiny game had selected a bunch of ordinary people from Huaxia, they cheered. “Hahaha, Huaxia is done for this time!” But they soon realized things weren’t so simple! Huaxia’s ordinary people had an incredible strength. They actually beat the monsters? What the hell, they’re even stronger than our gifted players! What’s going on with Huaxia’s background characters? And this rescue is only just beginning! Qin Sui: “I’m going to make every resident of Huaxia strong!” Who’s a background character? Everyone is the protagonist of their own story!
