Traveling Between Group Chats, I Bring the Nation to Care for Fallen Heroes' Families

[System + heartwarming story + the nation has your back + making amends to martyrs' families]

“Daddy, General Wu Shi and the others were killed. What will happen to their families?”

My six-year-old daughter, Lin Xiaohe, watched The Silent Glory and cried her heart out.

I didn't know how to answer.

But the next second, I awakened the Martyrs' Families Care System.

[First instance unlocked: The Silent Glory. You can transmigrate to 1950 and rescue the families of fallen martyrs.]

I held my daughter as a flash of white light swept over us.

Then we appeared in an alley in Taipei, in front of a sixteen-year-old girl being publicly humiliated by the secret police.

She was General Wu Shi's daughter.

Her father had just been executed, her mother had been arrested, and she and her younger brother had been thrown out of their home and left to roam the streets.

I was too powerless on my own.

So I decided to hand the System over to the nation.

From then on, the nation had my back.

The Lurk, Kite, Battle on Shangganling, The Garland Beneath the Mountain...

In every instance where the families and children of fallen martyrs are left helpless after their loved ones die, I will speak for the nation and say:

“I'm sorry, families of our martyrs. We've come too late.”
