Princess Jinyang: The Sky Screen Helps Me Become Empress from the Start

[Sky Screen + Adorable Baby + Infrastructure Building + Empress + Everyone's Wild Misinterpretations]

In the tenth year of the Zhenguan era, a sky screen appeared over Chang'an, revealing that a peerless empress would rise in the future Tang Dynasty!

The court was thrown into a panic. Li Shimin's face turned grim as he fixed his gaze on the three-year-old in Empress Zhangsun's arms... who was drooling away.

“Mingda? My daughter?”

Li Mingda was breaking down inside. [Help! I just want to laze around and live off everyone else. How did I end up ascending the throne at nine?!]

At that moment, the [Empress-Raising System] forcibly activated.

With powerful clans eyeing her hungrily, the Turks ready to make a move, and her mother on the verge of dying... Li Mingda sighed and rolled up her sleeves.

“Fine. I'll protect the Tang Dynasty. Little Xizi is on the job!”

And so, the story took a dramatic turn:

While others fought for favor in the palace, she brought out potatoes and corn, fed a million starving people, and was revered by the common folk as a living bodhisattva.

When powerful clans monopolized culture, she invented movable-type printing and launched a serialized edition of Journey to the West, making Kong Yingda so furious he nearly spat blood, while all of Chang'an clamored for the next chapter.

When Turkic cavalry rode south, she presented them with cement and horseshoes. Li Jing led the Black Armored Army in sweeping across the grasslands, and Jieli Khan cried out, “Daddy!”

Li Shimin: “Xizi said, ‘Let there be light,’ and so the Tang Dynasty got electric lights.”

Wei Zheng: “Whatever Her Highness says is the truth!”

Li Tai: “Could you save me a spot as the pendant on your leg?”

Years later, Li Mingda stood atop the Hall of Supreme Harmony in imperial robes.

She turned and smiled. Behind her lay a golden age of the Tang, with envoys from every nation paying tribute.

“Father, look. This golden age is just as you wished, and just as I wished.”

Little Xizi: Huh, ascending the throne doesn't seem so hard after all?!!
