After Becoming a Cannon-Fodder Character: My Mad Boss Forces His Love on Me

[Two strong leads + transmigrate into a book + ABO + unhinged, possessive devotion + sweet romance, no angst + forbidden office romance]

An overworked office drone drops dead and wakes up as an assistant who won’t survive three chapters in a melodramatic ABO novel.

In the original story, he’s supposed to spy on the male and female leads, provoke Lu Jinghan, an unhinged Alpha CEO, and ultimately end up disgraced and ruined.

Su Nian gives up on the plot right away: To hell with the story, to hell with working nine to nine, six days a week. Staying alive, clocking out on time, and coasting through life are what matter!

The whole company expects this beta, who dares to leave on time, to get kicked out. But the plot goes completely off the rails...

While everyone else nervously endures President Lu’s foul mood, Su Nian grabs his bag and leaves as soon as it’s time to go. In return, he gets the only private break room in the entire company, personally approved by the CEO. Lu even exempts him from clocking out.

While everyone else steers clear of Lu’s heat, Su Nian casually hands him a cup of warm water. The out-of-control lunatic pins him to an office chair, cedar-scented pheromones enveloping him as scorching breath brushes his ear. In a hoarse voice, Lu begs, “Don’t leave me.”

When the original male and female leads come asking for help, Su Nian turns them down flat. Then Lu Jinghan corners him in an empty stairwell, fingers caressing the back of his neck as he bites his ear and declares, “You’re mine. You can’t go anywhere.”

The whole company thinks he’ll be fired the next day. Instead, at a shareholders’ meeting, Lu Jinghan publicly announces, “Su Nian is my beloved. Anyone who lays a hand on him will be kicked out of the Lu Group.”

No one at the company knows that their fearsome President Lu locks the office late at night, holds Su Nian close, and obsessively leaves faint bite marks on the back of his neck as a mark that belongs to them alone.
