Siheyuan: Silly Zhu Is Done Being a Doormat

Silly Zhu has a dream that Qin Huairu sucks him dry for his entire life. He raises her children and grandchildren, then Bang Geng kicks him out, leaving him to freeze to death under a bridge.

When he wakes up, Jia Dongxu has just become disabled, and Qin Huairu is coming over with a bowl to cadge a meal.

This time, Silly Zhu isn't a fool.

Qin Huairu cries poverty? What does that have to do with me?

Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him? Don't try to trick me into supporting you in your old age!

Jia Zhangshi throws a fit? Call the police!

The whole courtyard says he's heartless. He just laughs. “I helped you all for half my life. Who ever helped me?”

From then on, he takes on anyone who tries to cheat him and turns the tables on anyone trying to take advantage.

He uses his top-notch cooking skills to make money, buy a house, and open a restaurant, then marries Lou Xiao'e and enjoys a good life.

Years later, everyone in the courtyard kneels and begs him to take them in. He has only one thing to say:

“Too late.”
