Siheyuan: Silly Zhu Is Reborn

In his previous life, He Yuzhu was abandoned by his father, drained dry by Qin Huairu, and used as a pawn by Yi Zhonghai. In the end, he starved to death under a bridge, and the one who came to collect his body was his archenemy, Xu Damao.

This time, he gets it: love whoever you want, I’m done serving you!

Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him? Get lost. Qin Huairu wants to borrow grain? Not a chance. The courtyard holds a meeting about helping one another? I’ll help myself first.

And the more he slacks off, the better his life gets. With the System at his side, his cooking skills are boosted to cheat-level. He somehow marries a beautiful rich woman, takes Xu Damao on as a lackey, and spends his free time figuring out how to “spice things up” for Jia Zhangshi: glue on her chair, chili in her porridge, and a spicy pot instead of clear broth. The courtyard’s pests are driven to question their sanity.

He Yuzhu’s daily routine: cook at work, tease his wife after work, and watch the neighbors fight among themselves whenever he has time. As for anyone trying to scheme against him?

He Yuzhu smiles silently over his braised pork: Keep fighting, you lot. I’m going to eat first.
