You Surrendered Mid-Rebellion? I'll Become Emperor Myself

Chu Yuan transmigrated to the Great Qian dynasty and became the Northern Liang prince, mocked by everyone as the most useless of them all.

No one knew that he had long been advancing technology and training a powerful army in secret. With three hundred thousand heavily armored cavalry at his command, Northern Liang had become the strongest bastion in the realm!

The court moved to strip the vassal princes of their power. The Crown Prince plotted to force his way onto the throne, then begged Chu Yuan to send troops to help.

Chu Yuan waved his banner, and his army raced three thousand li overnight to surround the capital!

But on the eve of the city’s fall, the old emperor used an immunity-from-death token to fool the Crown Prince into surrendering.

The Crown Prince came to persuade him: “Cousin, withdraw your troops. Don’t earn an eternal infamy.”

Chu Yuan laughed in anger.

“My three hundred thousand soldiers are at the gates, and now you want me to retreat?”

“If you want to fulfill your filial duty, I’ll help you do it.”

“But I’m sitting on that throne today, no matter what!”

He kicked the Crown Prince aside, blasted open the city gates, and rode straight into the imperial palace!

When news that a new emperor had ascended the throne spread across the land, everyone was stunned:

Wasn’t he supposed to be a useless vassal prince? How did he end up conquering the country and claiming the throne?!
