When the Rules Start Lying

In this world, there's a rule everyone overlooks:

Don't break the rules.

One day, Zhou You is dragged into a strange “instance.”

A doorbell rings incessantly outside. His reflection slowly twists in the mirror. When the lights go out, he can no longer tell what's there...

The rules are written on paper, but they're never complete.

Some people die for breaking the rules,

while others die for “following the rules.”

As instances descend upon reality again and again, more and more people go missing.

Zhou You gradually realizes that

the rules aren't there to protect people.

And it seems some kind of presence has set its sights on him.
