Just as I Lifted the Poison to My Lips, the Empress Stuffed Two Adorable Babies in My Arms and Called Me Their Father

I bind myself to a Die-Seeking System. If I die at the hands of a treacherous minister, I can take five billion back to the modern world. I immediately pick up the imperial gift of poisoned wine, ready to head home in bliss. But just as the poison reaches my lips, the puppet Empress kicks open the rickety door and shoves a pair of twins into my arms!

“Husband, I'll hand the throne over to the Empress Dowager. For our children, could you please not die?” I look at the two adorable kids clinging to my legs and calling me Dad, then at the hundred thousand imperial guards outside, my first disciple's sword pressed to their throats. I'm completely dumbfounded. Do I drink the poison or not?
