Exploring the Mountains and Rivers: The Secret Symbols of Angsang Lake’s Ancient Trail

To complete their graduation project, six students from Shaoxing University head to Angsang Lake to conduct field research. An Tong discovers by chance that the patterns on the lakebed match those of the lost Water Dragon Formation. When their drone disappears into the fog, the group becomes trapped in an S-shaped maze formed by the ancient towpath. A steady knocking from beneath the lake leads them to the ruins of a sunken Ming-Qing mansion. With technical support from Su Yujing and An Tong’s historical deductions, the team discovers that the Water Dragon Formation was not built to suppress demons, but was an underwater defense system used to protect Shaoxing in ancient times. But as they investigate further, they find signs of modern activity on the lakebed. An international antiquities-smuggling ring has been hiding there all along. Drawing on their different areas of expertise, the six students outmaneuver the criminals along the rain-soaked towpath. Through a series of perilous underwater expeditions, they finally activate the Bagua formation and protect the nation’s treasures.
