A Yandere Heiress from the Underworld? She’s No Tragic Little White Flower

[Heiress to a Crime Empire + Yandere + Hilarious Misinterpretations + Sweet Romance + CEO Dotes on Her Husband] Lin Yu, a socially anxious office worker, works up the courage one rainy night to grab half a brick and save a girl suffering from menstrual cramps from a group of gangsters. Seeing the pitiful Su Xiaolian, his protective instincts flare. “Don’t be afraid. I’ll work hard and take care of you from now on!” But he doesn’t know that the gangsters he chased away were actually her family’s bodyguards. And this seemingly fragile orphan, who looks like a gust of wind could knock her over, is really a trillion-yuan heiress with maxed-out combat skills and a yandere streak! When a female supervisor makes her life difficult at work, Su Xiaolian secretly brings in a top-tier legal team and sends the supervisor straight to prison. When his good buddy asks him to team up for a game, she spends a hundred thousand yuan hiring professional gamers from across the internet, making his friend uninstall the game overnight to escape the physical game-time restrictions. In everyday life, Su Xiaolian accidentally reveals her terrifying strength by crushing marble underfoot and squeezing raw walnuts into powder with her bare hands. But Lin Yu starts making wildly charitable assumptions: “Those evil capitalists! They’re forcing her to stomp on pickled vegetables barefoot in the middle of winter and crack walnuts by hand. Her life is so miserable!” Then one day, her arrogant, sharp-tongued brother, the heir to a financial empire, shows up with bodyguards to inspect her rental apartment, and her secret identity is exposed. Terrified, Lin Yu considers making a run for it by carrying a whole train on his shoulders. But Su Xiaolian drops her act completely and pins him against the wall, her gaze dangerous and obsessed. “Big Brother Lin, you promised to take care of me for the rest of my life. Where do you think you’re going?”
