Ancestor of the Miao: Yalu King

This is an epic about a lost paradise and the search for a way home. It tells the tragic story of Yalu, the Miao king and a descendant of the Jiuli tribe. Thousands of years after the Yan-Huang Alliance defeated Chiyou, Yalu's brothers grew jealous of him for possessing the treasured Dragon Heart. Forced to lead his people away from the fertile eastern plains, he endured countless hardships as they migrated west to the mountains, in what is now Guizhou and surrounding areas. The story celebrates the Miao people's indomitable spirit, their yearning for peace, and their everlasting longing for the ancestral homeland!
