Ledger of the End Times: I Build an Apocalypse Empire by Collecting Debts

[Apocalypse + Stockpiling + Strong Female Lead + Absolute Control]

The first thing Shen Yi does after being reborn is settle the debts owed to her by the entire sect.

The scumbag Gu Changming siphoned three hundred years of her life force? She strips away his fortune, makes him her number-one wage slave, and sends him to hunt demon cores to pay the interest. Sect Master Yun Xuzi stole her innate essence? He can repay her with the mountain-protecting grand array and the ten-thousand-year-old divine tree. The Discipline Elder owes her master a life-saving favor? Three-tenths of his cultivation vanishes, and he drops to his knees on the spot.

The apocalyptic calamity of the Age of Declining Dharma arrives. Heavenly demons tear through the sky, and all living things flee. Shen Yi seals off the mountain ahead of time and turns the Saintess Hall into the only safe zone in the apocalypse. Pay an entrance fee to get in. Every breath is charged by the second. If you want to live, sign a contract of servitude. What? You’re the Chosen One? Your name isn’t in the ledger, so get out there and feed the demons.

A disciple of the Divine Mechanism Pavilion brings her the “Nine Provinces Refuge Record.” The Heavenly Compass foretells that she is a world-ending demoness who will enslave all living beings. After listening, Shen Yi asks just one question: “That Nine-Turn Resurrection Pill that saved your life? Nine in, thirteen out, with Gu Changming as your guarantor. Can’t pay it back? Then you can both work it off.”

The harder Heaven’s Path collapses, the greater her authority over karma becomes. It doesn’t matter whether she caused the apocalypse. What matters is that everyone in the world owes her, and not one of them can escape paying back every last bit, with interest.
