Traditional Martial Arts and Tomb Raiding: Tales from Republican-Era China

In the fifteenth year of the Republic of China, the world is in turmoil.

The destitute youth Lin Yan inherits half of an ancestral tomb-raiding talisman, a Xingyi boxing manual, and a secret feng shui scroll.

To bury his grandfather, he ventures into a deadly tomb, using martial arts to break evil and feng shui to locate dragon veins.

He shakes corpse demons with Ming Jin, breaks mechanisms with An Jin, and subdues imperial mausoleums with Hua Jin.

From ancient tombs in Jinmen to witch tombs in western Hunan, from imperial mausoleums in Guanzhong to ancestral tombs in the Taihang Mountains,

he meets Su Qingyuan, a talented young woman well-versed in folk customs, and teams up with the greedy Wang Pangzi.

They raid tombs but never take more than they should. He has extraordinary skills, but always stands by his principles.

Warlords run rampant, foreigners plunder treasures, and villains covet the tombs.

With his martial arts, he protects Huaxia’s ancient tombs and safeguards the cultural heritage of the land.

Tomb raiding isn’t theft. It’s protection.
