In a city where humans and beastfolk live side by side, a gentle, unhurried encounter quietly melts the hearts of two lonely souls.
Tie, a blue-and-white wolf beastfolk, was abandoned at birth and grew up with only the meager warmth of his grandmother. After that, he was left to fend for himself through a life of hardship. Tall and strong, yet shy and tsundere, he has soft fur and pink paw pads, and a heart full of love for music. But after being cheated and robbed time and again, all he has left are his resilience and kindness, which carry him through countless lonely nights working the convenience store's night shift.
Lu Nianhan is a gifted music student from a wealthy family. With his gold-rimmed glasses and scholarly air, he seems refined, but surrounded by people who are all false and insincere, he has grown increasingly withdrawn and irritable. After missing a musical event, he encounters the half-asleep Tie in a convenience store late one night, and their fates become intertwined.
One chance encounter after another brings them closer: meeting while delivering takeout, a mix-up at a café, and a helping hand in the park. The withdrawn young man is moved by the blue wolf's sincerity, while the shy beastfolk is illuminated by his warmth. Lu Nianhan teaches him guitar and celebrates his birthday with him; Tie weaves him a flower crown by hand and sews a little wolf plushie just for him. Their everyday moments are filled with sweetness.
But before summer has run its course, a sudden parting arrives. Lu Nianhan leaves for a faraway country, leaving behind only a song, "Love for Tie," as a quiet farewell. Carrying his longing and the sound of music with him, Tie walks on alone for three years.
