Lin Zhiyu: You don’t want to touch me, really? Then why are your ears red? One unexpected night. One obstacle standing between them. They work in the same field and spend their days together. Who will fall first, step by step? A torrential downpour hits the mountain, and Shen Nianchu goes missing. When Lin Zhiyu finds her, she’s shaking all over. “Lin Zhiyu, you’re crazy,” Shen Nianchu yells at her. “Why would you come out in rain this heavy?” Lin Zhiyu says nothing. She walks forward and wraps her arms around Shen Nianchu. Shen Nianchu cries out, “You shouldn’t have come. It’s too dangerous!” Lin Zhiyu doesn’t let go. “I was afraid that if I came too late, I wouldn’t see you again!” Lin Zhiyu cups Shen Nianchu’s face and kisses her. Shen Nianchu turns her head away, dodging the kiss. “Lin Zhiyu…” Shen Nianchu’s voice trembles uncontrollably. “You asked me that question before,” Lin Zhiyu interrupts. “I can answer you now.” Shen Nianchu holds her breath. “Didn’t you ask what you mean to me?” The rain is loud, but every word Lin Zhiyu says reaches Shen Nianchu clearly. “Shen Nianchu, you’re the person I tried to avoid for so long, the person I lied to myself about for so long, and still couldn’t help falling for.” Tears roll down Shen Nianchu’s cheeks. “Stop running,” Lin Zhiyu says. “You fell for me a long time ago. So did I.”
