The Police System: From Lying Flat to Master Detective

A novel about the Divine Police System

The protagonist, Ye Fan, transmigrates to a parallel world. His grandfather is a big shot in the military, his father is a senior figure in the police force, and his mother runs a major pharmaceutical company. His maternal grandfather is one of the country’s foremost masters of traditional Chinese medicine. His maternal uncle is about Ye Fan’s age, and they grew up together. Ye Fan studied traditional Chinese medicine before, and his skills are now exceptional. Before transmigrating, Ye Fan was a designer at a mobile phone company. While chatting with his uncle, he complained that mobile phones were ugly and outdated, saying that a phone he designed would be a huge hit and beat the famous foreign brands. His uncle saw the business opportunity, so he and Ye Fan started a phone company. Ye Fan has been in this world for several years now. The company has gone public, and some of its technology has even received major state backing. Ye Fan had planned to lie flat, but then he got the Divine Police System. The System assigns him cases to solve. In this life, Ye Fan had already graduated from police academy, and the System’s missions force him to become a criminal investigator. Ye Fan gets caught up in major cases time and again. He solves one major case after another, earns award after award, racks up merits, and grows stronger with each reward from the Divine Police System.

There should be lots of cases, and they should be big, convoluted, and shocking to the whole country. Eventually, he goes abroad to investigate a case.
