Honghuang: With the Origin of the Chaos Green Lotus, I Lay Low Until I Attain the Dao

Lin Yi, a modern man, dies unexpectedly. His soul transmigrates into the Primordial World and merges with the last remnant of the Chaos Green Lotus, left behind after Pangu created the world. He is reborn as Qing Xuan. When he awakens, he gains the Treasure-Seeking System, which can sense every unclaimed opportunity in heaven and earth.

Knowing that the Primordial World is crowded with powerful beings and that its great calamities are perilous, Qing Xuan decides to follow the path of keeping a low profile: he avoids the limelight, makes no public show of himself, joins no sect, and gets entangled in no karma. Using the System, he quietly gathers unclaimed spiritual treasures, spiritual roots, and ley lines from the dawn of creation, making his fortune without a sound.

From secretly stealing the origins of the Three Clans' treasures during the Dragon-Han Tribulation, to disguising himself as a spiritual root to listen to the Dao outside Zixiao Palace; from profiting amid the chaos of the Witch-Demon War by obtaining Pangu's blood essence, to reaping the rewards of the Investiture of the Gods calamity by collecting the sword intent of the Immortal Slaying Sword; from secretly protecting the human race and forming good ties, to finding an unconventional path to completing the Heavenly Dao and attaining sagehood.

After a million years of patiently developing his strength, Qing Xuan has become an unshakable presence by the time the mighty beings of the Primordial World realize what has happened. In the end, he transcends the Heavenly Dao and enters the depths of Chaos, leaving behind the legend of the Far Northern Green Lotus.
