A Dream of Deer in Huaxu

Lu Tianyi is a top cardiac surgeon, cool and aloof in appearance, with medical skills unmatched anywhere in the city.

No one knows that the scalpel he uses to save lives once came close to destroying his own.

Ten years ago, an unexpected emergency aboard a speeding train turned him from a passionate medical student into a prisoner.

The girl he pulled back from death's door became the sharpest blade turned against him.

Ten years later, fate turns full circle.

As the grudges of the past return to the operating table, the mysterious TUS organization bares its fangs, and a coded note draws him into an even greater conspiracy...

This time, he must not only heal his patients' hearts, but also cut into the festering rot of this world!

This is a story about misunderstanding and forgiveness, sin and redemption.

Even in the depths of an abyss, hold fast to the light.
