Beacon Fires Over Qin Lan: From Great Qin’s Female General to Anti-Japanese Resistance Commander

At the end of the Great Qin dynasty, the last emperor is incompetent and heedless of good counsel. Foreign forces invade, and the great general Qin Xiaoyi and his family fight to the death, laying down their lives for their country. After being struck by an arrow, his eldest legitimate granddaughter, Qin Lan, takes her own life to avoid being dishonored.

When she opens her eyes again, she finds herself in a new dynasty. Only after receiving the memories of her new life does she learn that she has been reborn in a country called the Republic of China. It is now 1941. The Japanese army has occupied North China and is carrying out a major sweep. Qin Lan is a militia captain. While covering the villagers' retreat, she is wounded and falls unconscious. Her comrades carry her to a tunnel to treat her injuries.
