Perilla in 1988

Five-year-old Zisu is beaten unconscious by her mother. While unconscious, she discovers that she isn’t the child of the people raising her: she was deliberately switched at birth in the delivery room, and she is actually Dr. Fang’s biological daughter. She also discovers that not only does she have an exceptionally capable father and a mother with outstanding medical skills, but she also has four older brothers who will go on to achieve great success in literature, computer science, and the military. But after the fake daughter dies, her parents divorce. Her mother takes the eldest and second-eldest brothers abroad to live with her own parents and falls into depression, while her father stays in the country with the third and fourth brothers. Later, the family will blame one another, turn against each other, and ultimately end in tragedy. So when Zisu wakes up, the first thing she does is go find her family: Dr. Fang and his family, who have returned from abroad.
