Weren't We Supposed to Fight to the Death in Court? Why Are You Livestreaming?

I started livestreaming in ancient times, and the viewers told me to win over the tyrant.

Me: ??? This isn’t how the script is supposed to go!

Reborn as the dying heir of a marquis’s house, I got bound to the [Historical Livestream System].

To stay alive, I was forced to livestream palace intrigue, power struggles, and battlefield survival.

The comments were even more frantic than I was:

[Streamer, hurry and cozy up to him! He’s your future husband!]

[That chancellor on the left is the head of your shipper fan club. Hurry and form an alliance with him!]

[His Majesty has been looking at you for three seconds! By law, he has to marry you now!]

While livestreaming, I complained, “I thought we were supposed to be fighting to the death at court. Why are you all shipping us?”

Then one day, the emperor cornered me in the imperial study.

“Shen Yan, the comments say you should marry me.”

Me: “…Your Majesty, they’re joking.”

He lowered his head and kissed me. “I never joke.”

[Livestreaming + silly comedy + sweet romance + political intrigue]
