I was obsessed with Love Poison for a long time. I wasn’t satisfied with the happy ending where everyone gets what they want, so I tried writing a continuation myself. At first, I planned to really put that doctor Prem through the wringer for letting go so easily. But as I kept writing, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Life is hard enough, so I eventually turned it into a sweet romance. Then it ended, and a lot of readers weren’t happy. They like angst and wanted the puppy to go solo, the older sister to die alone, and the story to have a BE ending. Oh my God, how can anyone enjoy angst that much?! As someone who likes sweet stories, that made my heart skip a beat. Fine, this time I’ll listen to you and torture Doctor Prem to death. You decide whether the ending is BE or HE.
