The Sequel to Toxic Love: Please Love Me One More Time

The love potion may have worn off, but I still haven’t recovered from this story. Everything changed so quickly after Pat’s car accident that it all felt unreal, and I can’t help feeling that poor Pat deserved better. From the very beginning, she gave so much of herself so sincerely... She knew the doctor was straight, yet worked so hard to pursue her. She was already ready to give up in episode four, but the doctor begged her to stay. Then, after sleeping with her, the doctor refused to acknowledge it and said such hurtful things that Pat cried her heart out... Every time, the doctor was the one who gave up first. I can’t help wondering if, without the accident, she really would have gotten engaged, married, and had a child. Poor Pat deserved better. The doctor’s sudden change of heart at the end felt so forced, too. She just forgave her parents like that. If the younger one had really died, would she have forgiven them just because they offered a couple of casual apologies? But the younger one did die. I don’t think that’s something you can forgive so easily. That was the only part of the whole series that made me uncomfortable. I genuinely thought the story was great up until then. In real life, an accident that serious would give you no chance of surviving... Pat was so kind and sincere; she didn’t deserve an ending like that. She should have gone abroad and met someone who would wholeheartedly choose her for the rest of her life, making the doctor regret everything. But I know Pat loved the doctor so much that she couldn’t bear to see her doctor suffer. So I’ll give the story the ending it deserved myself. My writing may not be very good, so please bear with me. I’m only trying to make up for a small regret of mine.
