It tells the story of young Lu Fan, whose parents were murdered by bandits. He has been wandering around the world since he was a child, and has been moved by the deeds of the Monkey King to embark on the path of seeking the truth. He rescued a group of trapped monkeys in the Huaguo Mountain. Later, he killed his enemies and destroyed the Buddhist temple that harbored the evildoers. He was taken to the Heavenly Court to be judged on the Immortal Beheading Platform. The mirror of karma revealed his past, and unexpectedly revealed his identity as a disciple of Patriarch Bodhi and the disciple of Sun Wukong. In the end, Sun Wukong fought with the Golden-winged Dapeng, and resolved the grudges with Tathagata Buddha. After the battle was completed, he returned to Fangcun Mountain to practice with concentration.
