A Fake Sage on the Lotus Throne? Jin Chanzi Reveals His True Beast Form

In the Trial of the True and False Monkey Kings, the one who died was the real Great Sage, while the one who took his seat on the lotus throne was the Six-Eared Macaque.

The Tathagata fooled all living beings, but he could not fool the three disciples who had spent every day with Wukong.

That night, Bajie burned the letter from his family in Gao Village, while Sha Seng crushed the precious bead bestowed on him by Buddha.

And Tang Sanzang, the virtuous man of ten lifetimes, tore his brocade kasaya to shreds before everyone, revealing his true form as the ancient ferocious beast, the Six-Winged Golden Cicada!

"Tathagata, you schemed to have my disciple die beneath the golden alms bowl. Today, I will make you repay that debt in blood on Spirit Mountain!"

On this day, the holy monk fell to darkness, and all the gods and Buddhas in the heavens would be buried with him!
