Just as I Retired, the School Beauty Next Door Was Kidnapped

Weary of the bloodshed, Ye Chen, once the feared Yama of the global underworld, withdraws from the world and hides among ordinary people, wanting nothing more than a normal life.

A bowl of hot soup from the neighbor, a call of “Brother Ye Chen” from his younger sister: these are the only lights in his frozen heart.

But when the kidnappers call, and his sister’s heart-rending cries come through the receiver, he knows the game of playing an ordinary man is over!

“I never wanted to get involved. You forced my hand!”

A dragon’s scales are not to be touched, or death is certain! Today, Yama returns, and the world will tremble!
