I Was Supposed to Transmigrate and Conquer the World, but I Spend Every Day Stir-Frying

Lin Chen, a top foodie who had eaten his way across the country, gorged on wild mushrooms in Yunnan, got poisoned, and blacked out. Just like that, he transmigrated!

It was a modern parallel world. Everything was great, except that everyone's cooking talents had gone completely haywire!

Boiled vegetables with a sprinkle of salt were considered a feast fit for royalty, and even instant noodles were praised to the heavens. The original owner had inherited his parents' little restaurant, but his cooking was so outrageously awful that a gang of thugs who came looking for trouble beat him to death. When he opened his eyes again, the body now belonged to Lin Chen, who had traveled across the country.

Faced with a gang of vicious thugs threatening to smash up his shop, Lin Chen calmly tied on an apron. “Don't rush to throw punches. Have a bite first. If it's no good, then you can smash the place.”

A bowl of homestyle braised pork was so fragrant that the thugs dropped to their knees and begged him to take them as disciples. A bowl of mushroom and chicken soup was so delicious that the neighbors from the whole street scrambled to get a taste. One dish made with an ancient recipe sent viewers across the internet into a frenzy!

The tiny restaurant, which had been on the verge of closing, now had a line out the door every day. Influencers fought to get in for a visit, celebrities came by in private for a meal, and the culinary association begged him to come out of retirement.

Later, Lin Chen started livestreaming and held cooking classes, spreading the eight great culinary traditions and all kinds of snacks across the country. He turned a food desert into a world alive with the warmth of everyday life!
