Siheyuan: Don't Make Things Up, I'm Really Not a Bad Neighbor

This book has just two female leads! The protagonist is a good person. If you believed that, then pretend I never said it! The story begins in 1951. Li Xinmin was blackmailed by his readers into breaking up the Jia family and stealing Qin Huairu away from her husband of just one year. Then the readers went too far again, making him trick the White Widow into moving into the courtyard house, and just like that, He Daqing came back! The readers made another demand: have him find a few relatives for He Yuzhu, and have Jia Zhangshi bring her relatives from the countryside to live there too! ...Can this courtyard house even be saved? The readers made trouble again, insisting that Yi Zhonghai sleep with the White Widow. I had to help him make the affair seem reasonable, make sure the He family didn’t hate me, and still get along with the Jia family! You might as well kill the author! I’ve transmigrated into so many books, and I’ve never seen readers with more flexible moral standards than you lot! I want to go back to the countryside! Readers: If you dare go back, we’ll make your book a 5-star rating! A 5-star rating? I need a 9.9 rating to transmigrate back! Have some decency, will you? If the score drops below 5.4, I’ll be erased! You might as well just say you want me dead!
