Silly Chun Sees Things

Everyone in the village calls her "Silly Chun."

They say she's slow-witted, that she talks in circles, and that she's cursed with bad luck and brings misfortune to others.

But no one knows that she can see the dead.

Not ghosts, but "people who haven't moved on."

Some are crying, some keep repeating the things they did in life, and some... are still waiting for someone who will never come.

She doesn't understand logic or know how to reason things out.

She only knows that she can tell at a glance who's good and who's hiding something rotten in their heart.

People say she's stupid.

But the world she sees is clearer than anyone else's.

The first strange incident in the village began with an old well.

The second involved a truck that kept "getting into the same accident" over and over.

The third was a mother who had "been dead for three days, yet was still feeding her child."

Then one day, for the first time, she saw "the shadow of the dead growing on a living person."

Only then did she understand: the real impurity in this village had never been the ghosts.

Some wanted to use her eyes to make money.

Some wanted to destroy her ability.

And someone... had been secretly protecting her all along.

She only wants to figure out one thing:

"Am I really a fool, or am I the only one who's truly awake?"
